Yongin Natural Recreation Forest

Located at the southern foot of Jeonggwangsan Mountain, Yongin Natural Recreation Forest is well equipped with various experiences and recreation areas such as trails, grass squares, children's playgrounds, eco-adventures, forest experience centers, and wood culture experience centers.

Buddhist temple

This temple is located where 48 peaks of Yeonhwasan Mountain are surrounded like a folding screen and was built in 1970 by Haewol Samjang Buddhist monk, a displaced person, to achieve national harmony with the help of Buddha. Among the many Buddha statues, it is famous for its lying Buddha statue, Wabul, a super-large Buddha statue, the bell of unification passed down during the 88 Seoul Olympics, Korea's most giant bronze statue, and the world's largest and only Buddha statue.

Yongin Simgok Seowon

Simgokseowon Confucian Academy, which was established to commemorate Jeongam Jo Gwang-jo's learning and virtue, has the typical form of a Confucian academy in the Joseon Dynasty with the auditorium located in the front and behind the shrine.

Hantaek Botanical Garden

The Hantaek Botanical Garden displays a total of 9,700 kinds of plants, including 2,400 kinds of native plants and 7,300 kinds of exotic plants, on about 200,000 pyeong. It is the largest general botanical garden in Korea where you can enjoy beautiful gardens anytime you visit in all four seasons. There are a variety of plant varieties, such as a quail garden, BB chuwon, and Iriswon, and it has a unique garden such as an Australian greenhouse, a South African greenhouse, a herb & insect botanical garden, a lawn flower bed where you can relax and relax, and a shelter.
